以往機車的保養維修總讓人有比不上氣車維修的感覺,也許是機車單價遠低於氣車,讓機車族也習於在黑黑、灑落油污的機車店佳做保養維。但是Yamaha機車並不認同這樣的文化,因為隨著機車市場的開放,與機車產品的品質日益提昇,機車的展售與保養維修也應向上提昇。於是在1999年進了YSP(YAMAHASUPERPLAZA–山葉頂級販賣廣場)示範店的概念,也就是希望改造零售維修點的店頭文化,讓每一個營業據點,都能是窗明几淨的展售空間採用透明且規格化的保修流程、也能是機車資訊的供應店,讓車主能享受到更高規格的待遇,比照、甚至超越氣車的保修廠。
