New Beetle 歷經 14 年產品週期，大改款首度曝光。
新車捨棄了車名的「New」，直接命名為 Beetle。
Beetle 將於上海車展首度公開展示，緊接著是紐約車展。
外觀最大不同為壓扁後的車頂，原本稍為突出的屁屁也改為較垂直的設計。
車寬較前代增加 8.4 cm，車長則是增加 15.2 cm。
引擎為 2.0 TFSI、2.0 TDI，北美仍然有 2.5 L 的入門選擇。
此外，VW 也提供性能套件供選配，包含 19" 輪圈與後尾翼。
