目前市面幾乎都是後驅車及前驅車車款,所以原廠設定多為Toe-in,只有少數四驅車款,
將前、後輪前束角,設定為0度。Toe-out的設定通常被用於賽車用的後輪,提高車尾的穩
定性。目前常出現在試車場的「動力滑胎」運動,為避免動力滑胎性能降低,會將後輪前
束角設定為Toe-in。但以一般道路駕駛,前束角多設定為Toe-in。
另外
Toe-in會造成轉向不足,Toe-out則會增大轉向過度的趨勢
toe-in 小 => 直行性較差 但是轉彎比較好轉
toe-in 大 => 直行性較佳 但是會吃外側但是又會造成轉向靈敏度變差
toe out對轉向初期反應較為靈敏
toe-out => 直行性不穩 除非是轉尾式樣車 沒人這樣設.
另外還有 Camber(外傾角)與Caster(後傾角)
但以AWD的車(WRX)來說,比較常跑山路,前後輪要怎麼調會比較好
