Ferrari has confirmed plans to unveil an "extreme" V12 sports car at the
Geneva Motor Show.
Likely the 620 GT, Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo hinted it will be "a
revolutionary new car that delivers extreme performance and unprecedented
power output." That's a little vague, but previous reports have suggested the
car will feature a 6.3-liter V12 engine with approximately 710 PS (522 kW /
700 hp). It will likely be connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch
transmission which sends power to the rear wheels through an electronically
locking rear differential.
Ferrari also announced they sold 7,195 cars last year which enabled them to
have record revenues of $2.96 billion with a net profit of $275 million.
