最近網路謠傳下一代Civic Type-R會有CVT版，為此美國Car and Driver雜誌
特地向美國Honda查證，Honda兩位發言人都斬釘截鐵的說新Type-R並沒有CVT版，
只有「6速手排」。

Honda資深經理說Civic Si和Type-R的銷售是鎖定那些最講究操控，最追求人車一體感
的駕駛人，Honda這幾個月內就會公佈新Type-R更多的規格細節。
"Si and Type R are the Civics most aimed at the purist driver and
maximizing engagement. More details will be available in the coming months."
Car and Driver也認為手排Type-R才能保有創辦人「本田宗一郎」的熱血精神
(the spirit of Soichiro Honda intended)。
