對SUBARU的粉絲來說,1989年首度搭載於第一代Legacy的EJ20引擎,其地位之崇高就如同
iPhone在果粉心目中一樣不可取代,如今歷經30年的風光歲月,縱使原廠不斷修改與進化
,卻仍不敵越來越嚴苛的法規,即將在今年底下台一鞠躬。
打從1989年第一代Legacy搭載EJ20引擎以來,水平對臥引擎與渦輪增壓的組合,就成為SU
BARU最膾炙人口的動力設定,因此從Legacy、Ipmreza、Forester到Exiga等,都是以EJ20
為基礎向上或向下延伸排氣量,EJ15、EJ16、EJ18、EJ22、EJ25就這麼隨著車型演變而問
世,其中EJ20更在STI的調校下成為性能代名詞,屬於性能旗艦的WRX STI自1994年誕生後
,就由EJ20一路伴隨成長,第五代日規版更獲得308hp的馬力輸出,再加上改裝空間相當
大,因此受到廣大性能迷喜愛。
然而因各國法規日趨嚴苛(油耗和排放兩大法規),自2012年起SUBARU便開發FA/FB系列
引擎來逐漸取代EJ系列,即使性能與經濟性都不輸給EJ20,但採用直噴也讓成本更高,而
EJ20則在原廠盡全力的調校下生存至今,並成為WRX STI的標準心臟,畢竟這可是六芒星
的一大招牌。但現在已經抵擋不住非常嚴苛的油耗新標準,逼得SUBARU只有放棄花經費去
進行無謂的調校(在怎麼調還是過不了)。所以從2018年開始,歐陸便推出「WRX STI Fina
l Edition」版本,除了宣示WRX STI即將進入全新世代,也預告EJ20將在這一代WRX STI
畫上休止符。
因此在SUBARU的規畫下,EJ20將在今年內全面停產,爾後WRX STI將會換上FA20 DIT來應
戰,但據說FA20 DIT可能也過不了法規(尤其歐盟和台灣最為嚴重),使得未來WRX STI
甚至Levorg都可能沒有機會在台灣販售了,各位看倌啊,一但少了渦輪增壓似乎就少了SU
BARU的精神,不是嗎?
心得:連FA20 DIT 缸內直噴渦輪增壓都過不了?排污法規是否就是新Forester 沒有渦輪
的原因?
請問中華民國是不師全世界唯一做不出四缸內燃機引擎的排污法規卻最嚴苛的國家ㄋ?
