A Volvo XC60 safety system demonstration in the Dominican Republic went all
wrong when the SUV hit two people.
As the video shows, the machine speeds up with two people standing in front
of it as a part of the Pedestrian Protection system demonstration. They were
hit by the XC60, but luckily escaped the accident with only minor injuries.
The uploader of the video explains the driver of the SUV probably forgot to
activate the system and that's the reason for the accident. On the other
hand, some users' comments suggest the car from the video isn't equipped
with the Pedestrian Protection at all.
