Here are the fist spy photos available of the upcoming 2012 BMW 3-Series LWB
(long wheelbase) for the Chinese market.
Caught testing a little closer to home in Germany, this next 3-Series (F30)
prototype features an added 10 to 15 cm (3.9 to 5.9 inches) in length to
provide for some extra rear-passenger leg room. In the photos here, we can
see how the rear door seems to have been stretched longer.
Like the 5-Series, as well as competitors such as Audi does with the A4L, BMW
will offer the 3-Series in China in a long wheelbase edition - stretched
editions which are very popular with business executives in that country.
The Chinese-market 2012 BMW 3-Series is slated for a debut at the Beijing
Motor Show in April 2012.
