關於佔用左轉車道 - 開車

我認為會有這種左轉道被佔用問題,主要來自於道路規劃失敗
以我在加州開車經驗,他們道路幾乎都規劃成奇數線道
例如4線道的道路,中間會多一個線道做為雙向待轉車道,不會讓左轉的車輛卡住車流
我最常開的W. Olympic Blvd跟La Cienega Blvd.交叉口,這是一個超多車的路口
6線道跟6線道交叉,兩條路都是做成7線道,中間有個雙向待轉車道

台灣特愛的安全島,只有某些大型道路路口開始注意到左轉車問題,把安全島縮減變成
左轉待轉車道.這是好現象,但是並沒有全部路口比照辦理.
例如承德路七段,只有左轉立賢路(往社子大橋)有做安全島縮減變成左轉專用道,先不
提它可容納待轉車輛不太夠的問題,大家可以注意其它路口左轉專用道都是內側車道
直接漆上左轉箭頭,而不是縮減安全島來做為不影響車流的專用左轉車道.

更別提中山北路六段的安全島,不知為何好像美觀比車流重要,每天上下班內側車道都
被左轉車輛塞死,原本單向2線道變1線道.如果把安全島都拆掉漆成中間雙向待轉車道,
中山北路一定會更暢通.

在LA地區有安全島的路不多,Santa Monica Blvd的安全島在路口處幾乎都會縮小變成左

我認為是道路規劃只考慮偶數線道,沒有把待轉車道列入思維的關係
因此我公共政策網路參與平臺提了個案,希望道路規劃時可以考量車流問題,以奇數線道
做為規劃標準.左轉車輛不會擋住內線車道,也減少後方車輛向右閃避時可能的車禍!
另外,這個車道也可以讓從小巷弄出來的車有個地方可以暫停或加速,待主線道有空間時
能併入主線道.
