Based on an acoustic analysis in the vehicle interior, the rear door is
equipped with a highly efficient bass reflex loudspeaker, which has a
mid-high-frequency loudspeaker at the top of the door and a channel that
optimally arranges the low-frequency exit at the door, for the first time in
Lexus under the door. This structure enables a low frequency reproduction
equivalent to a 16 cm wide range speaker and a high frequency reproduction
higher than that of the same full range speaker although it is a 5.5 cm small
diameter speaker and is a wider band reproduction realized with a
loudspeaker. In addition, the mid-high range reproduced from the upper part
of the door realizes a sound image and stage feeling in a high position, and
at the same time, the low range reproduced from the lower part of the door
realizes rich bass.
簡單地說 Pioneer認為這樣做低音相當於16cm的喇叭而且高音表現更好。
