(一) Jenson Button will end his Formula 1 career as a McLaren driver after sign
ing one of the longest and most lucrative contracts in the sport. Button, 31,
is understood to have committed himself for at least another four years in a
deal worth up to 50m Pounds.


Jenson Button在簽下這項運動中最長與最肥的契約後，
最終將會以McLaren車手的身分走入生涯尾聲。

目前的了解是，
31歲的Button這份至少四年的承諾，

(二) Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has set his sights on beating Jenson Button
, Mark Webber and Lewis Hamilton to finish the season second in the
championship to Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel. "Clearly, if one looks at the way
recent races have gone, it will definitely not be easy," he said, "as my
closest rivals seem to have that little bit extra in terms of car performance,
but that does not mean it's a lost cause. We know we have to do everything
perfectly if we want to reach our goal and we will be trying right to the
very end."

(三) But on arriving in Japan, Alonso said he "would prefer to win one of the
remaining five races (than) to be second in the world championship".

(四) Next year's Red Bull car will "amaze" the team's rivals, according to
chief technical officer Adrian Newey.

(五) Bernie Ecclestone says he is not concerned by Tuesday's advisory ruling by
the European Court of Justice permitting the use of foreign decoders to watch
sport in the UK.

對此Bernie Ecclestone說他不擔心法庭的這個決定。

(六) The recruitment of Aldo Costa and Geoff Willis to head up the two main
technical groups at Mercedes GP will allow the squad to compete at the front
on a regular basis, according to team principal Ross Brawn.


根據MGP主席Ross Brawn的說法，
新招募的Aldo Costa與Geoff Willis，
會分別在MGP裡領導兩個技術團隊，
將使這隻車隊常態性的在前排競爭。
