CEO不切實際 VW工程師被迫在油耗測試造假 - 歐洲車

根據外電，VW的工程師們坦承在油耗測試造假，原因在於CEO不切實際的減碳目標。

在車輛送測的時候，VW工程師違反規定，先把胎壓打高到3.5bar (約50psi)，
然後預先把柴油倒入引擎機油箱裡混合，降低阻力，讓引擎運轉更順暢，
使得受測車的油耗數字更漂亮。

VW工程師聲稱，這一切都是為了達成前CEO Winterkorn不切實際的要求，難以達成，
當時Winterkorn在2012年日內瓦國際車展上宣佈，VW將削減CO2碳排放量30%。

報導中也提到VW的經理人很擔心去美國接受調查，因為已經有人被美國檢調扣押護照，
回不去德國了。

難怪Skoda的CEO Winfried Vahland寧可辭職，並離開福斯集團，也不要去接下美國VW
CEO一職。因為他知道公司內有很多造假內幕，絕對不是只有2.0TDI那麼簡單。

萬一案情升高，被美國扣押護照，連德國老家都回不去了，實在不划算。

最近這幾年，Winfried Vahland一直都是福斯集團CEO的熱門人選，因為他把Skoda經營
的非常好，Skoda每年銷售量都有兩位數的成長率。

新任VW CEO Matthias Muller，在上台之後，就安排Vahland去接掌美國VW的CEO，
讓Vahland去當炮灰，剷除潛在對手，可說是借刀殺人的高招。

Winfried Vahland眼看情況不妙，只能忍痛割捨，辭職離開工作長達25年的福斯集團。

Winterkorn原本以為自己的地位穩固，可以安心了。
結果因造假醜聞，前CEO再被前董事長Piech逆襲成功，辭職下台。

新任VW CEO Muller，在上台後，也開始剷除其他的潛在對手，確保自己的地位。

Bild said the engineers used several illegal measures to manipulate
the emissions values, including through a higher tyre pressure of 3.5 bar.
They also mixed diesel in the motor oil so that the vehicle ran more smoothly
and used less fuel.

Winterkorn declared at the Geneva auto show in March 2012 that VW wanted to
reduce its CO2 emissions by 30 percent by 2015 and the engineers did not dare
to tell him that this would be difficult to achieve.
