social media大約在2011~2012智慧型手機開始普及後也跟著快速發展
F1官方水管在2015年才開張上傳影片，整個2015賽季的上傳影片數也還很少
查了一下也沒有race highlights
2017 Liberty進來後開始每場賽後會放官方版本的精華
2018 可以說是整個Modern F1 marketing跟傳統的分水嶺
先是改了用10幾年的opening title以及F1官方LOGO
再請來知名作曲/指揮家Brian Tyler創作了現在大家耳熟且洗腦的主題曲
每個GP weekend都有大量精華剪輯可以重溫
Liberty進來之後先是效法各大世界聯賽/聯盟出了官方的F1TV，進入網路收視era
Social media的經營更是非常積極開始使用IG/Twitter來增加曝光度
也找來Netflix製作DTS讓更多新觀眾加入看F1的行列
從2018開始快速增加的曝光度更在今年2021 Max v.s Lewis的title對決快速暴增
這次最後本來大家都準備恭喜Lewis創紀錄8冠
Netflix跟Liberty最想要刺激收視的DRAMA在最後5圈出現SC
Max靠著換胎最後一圈超車成功拿下WDC
這種劇本完全把整個整年F1不斷要營造的rival氛圍直接hype到最高點
以前記得2016 title decider也沒有F1板紫爆過
成功的手法+行銷讓F1從英國人觀看群體為主的運動推廣到美國人/全世界觀看數不斷增加
真的可以給Liberty一個非常大的credit
