Still over a year away, the next generation Mercedes E Class, code-named
W212, is not expected to makes its debut until the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
We've seen some E-Class sedan spy photos wearing less camouflage recently,
but these latest photos of the wagon variant taken in Stuttgart yesterday
reveal a little more.

原廠代號 W212 的 E-class 將於 2009 法蘭克福車展發表
已經有很多包的密不透風的測試車在路上亂晃
但這些昨天在斯圖加特拍的照片卻透露更多訊息

For the first time, the design of the bumper fascia is fully visible with
coverings from the lower right and left side removed. Looking like a styling
job from Mercedes tuner, BRABUS, the lower bumper openings suspiciously have
dual fog lights on each side. It's not clear if these lights are functional
or just a decoy, but hopefully the later is closer to the truth.

根據第一張照片
很明顯看出前氣壩和 BRABUS 的設計很像
尤其是雙霧燈的配置
但看不出是否真的有照明功能或只是裝飾

Overall, the new styling will adapt styling elements from the recently
revealed SL-Class facelift and C-Class, particularly in the headlamp design.
The new model will grow 7 cm in overall length.

新的造型設計將跟隨小改款 SL-class 及上市不久的 C-class
尤其是頭燈部份
new E-class 車長將比現行車款多出 7 公分

The 2010 E-Class will offer a wide selection of engines, ranging from a 4
cylinder petrol engine with 184 hp up to an 544 hp V8 as well as diesels
ranging from 136 hp 4 cylinder to a 354 hp V8. However, customers will have
to wait for a hybrid version for another year. According to insider
information, in 2010 the car is going to available also as a hybrid model in
combination with a diesel engine. The E 300 Bluetech hybrid will get power
from a 3.0 litre 224 hp V6 and a 15kW electric engine with an integrated
start generator.

引擎部分應該是史上最多選擇的車款（這我自己講的.XD）
從四缸 184 匹汽油引擎到 544匹 V8 引擎
柴油部份則是從四缸 136 匹到 354 匹 V8
混合動力則是發表後一年才會推出
根據內部人員指出
2010 年將會把混合動力與柴油引擎結合在一起
E300 Bluetech 使用 3.0 升 224 匹 V6 引擎加上 15kW 的電力引擎作為發動機
