A somewhat rare Lamborghini LP400 has been put up for sale in Huntington
Station, New York. The car, painted in Tahiti Blue with Blue/White leather
interior, has been listed at $395,000.
目前有部相當罕見的 Lamborghini LP400 正在紐約 Huntington Station 出售～
外觀使用名為「Tahiti Blue」的烤漆，內裝則是由藍白真皮組成。
售價為 395,000 美金～
The car uses a lightweight 4.0-liter V-12 engine with dual overhead cams that
produces 375 horsepower and up to 365 Nm of torque. Mated to a five-speed
synchromesh transmission, the engine reaches 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds on its
way to a 316 km/h (196 mph) top speed.
LP400 搭載 4.0 L V12 自然進氣引擎，馬力 375 匹，扭力 37.2 公斤米。
搭配五速手排，0-100 km/h 5.6 秒，極速 316 km/h。
After its debut as the prototype LP500 at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show, and its
production-spec debut two years later, Lamborghini produced 150 units of the
supercar. Assembly halted in 1978 when the LP400S came on the market.
原型車為 1971 年日內瓦車展發表的 LP500，兩年後發表量產版。
總計 LP500 只生產 150 部，1978 年停產後改由 LP400S 接手。
Typically, the car would be valued around $80,000, according to several
Lamborghini enthusiast websites. However, this car has been thoroughly
restored outside and inside over two years. It has won multiple class
trophies at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
根據許多 Lamborghini 狂熱論壇的討論，LP400 的殘值約為 80,000 美金。
但這部車經過兩年的整理後，外觀與內裝如同新車般亮眼。
並在著名的 Pebble Beach 古董車展獲得不少獎項，因此售價也跟著水漲船高。
Nicknamed "Periscopo," for its periscope-style rear mirror, the LP400 was the
first in the company's 26-year history of Countach production. The car is
being sold by Autosport Designs/Lotus Motorcars of Long Island.
